With just over two weeks left to submit your nominations for this year’s Caribbean Travel Media Awards, we urge you to submit any pieces of media coverage as soon as possible. This year we have two new categories: Social Media Campaigns and Caribbean Round Ups. Both have widened the possibilities therefore if you’ve been involved in any media campaigns that fit these categories, please do include. Think ‘Caribbean Year of Adventure’ too.
Spice up the festivities and head for the Caribbean for some pleasurable surprises and something a little different. A steel band playing Jingle Bells while you enjoy a rum punch or Santa Claus arriving by speedboat!! If this is still not quite enough then read on, for things could get interesting. After an exhausting three days at World Travel Market we gladly sat down to speak to one of the UK’s top travel bloggers @WanderlustChloe about her experiences and why she loves to travel…..
Why did you start – ‘Wanderlust Chloe’? A few years ago I decided to leave my stressful London job, travel and have an adventure. I booked flights and spent three months exploring Mexico, Central America and Cuba. Just before I left, I set up a blog just for fun! It was basically for friends and family and a little hobby for me to do on the road. I returned from travelling and decided I had a serious bout of wanderlust and I wanted to see more of the world so I updated the design and looked at the blog as a serious platform for sharing tips, photos and more with fellow travel lovers around the world. The rest, as they say, is history.

The cold weather is here but we battled through it and went along to the Black British Classical Foundation (BBCF) Opera recital at Speaker’s House in the Palace of Westminster. The BBCF is a non-profit organisation that aims to take Opera to new audiences and venues. Hosted as always by the energetic and charismatic Founder and Artistic Director – Vincent Osborne, the evening introduced their new Board Members and an exciting 2016 season of performances and events ranging from small recitals to a large three day outdoor music festival. … Continue reading

The island’s Summer Sunsation* promotion, which offers free nights at participating hotels in addition to Kids ‘Stay and Eat’ free deals, is just the incentive needed to book a holiday to this unspoilt gem in the Caribbean.
